Matthew Soteriou

Matthew Soteriou’s research interests are in the philosophy of mind and action, metaphysics, and epistemology, and much of his research focuses on issues that lie at the intersection of these areas of philosophy. This includes work on consciousness, the ontology of mind, time and temporal awareness, perception, memory, imagination, agency, mental action, self-knowledge, knowledge of other minds, and wakefulness, sleep, and dreams. Before joining the University of Pittsburgh, Matthew Soteriou taught at King’s College London, the University of Warwick, and Oxford University.
