I am fascinated by questions having to do with realism and antirealism, particularly as they arise with respect to the foundations of physical theories. These questions help motivate some of my other, more historical interests in understanding how theories like general relativity came about and how these developments are connected to philosophical views about things like space, time, and motion. I previously studied philosophy and computer science at the University of Chicago.
