My research focuses primarily on the ontology and phenomenology of mental disorders. I explore how 4E (embodied, embedded, enactive, extended) approaches to mind can solve some ontological questions in mental disorder and how integrating cognitive-scientific frameworks with phenomenological descriptions provides a more complete picture of disordered consciousness. I am also interested in psychiatric ethics, psychedelic-assisted therapies, mindfulness, and stigma.
