I am a graduate student at the University of Pittsburgh's Department of History and Philosophy of Science. I am currently interested in philosophical issues concerning scientific method and the distinction between science and technology, and in philosophical and metahistorical issues concerning scientific change. I am also interested in issues relating to bioethics and social justice. Before joining Pitt HPS I studied chemistry and philosophy and worked as a medicinal chemist in the Boston-area pharmaceutical industry. For more information, please visit my website.
