I am broadly interested in research-practice overlaps, especially in the context of clinical medicine. My doctoral work at the University of Toronto (to be defended in September 2022) focuses on some conceptual, social-epistemic, and bioethical issues underlying the definition and discovery process of pharmaceutical side effects. I am also interested in the nature of psychiatric and psychological interventions, surgery in the context of the biopsychosocial model of health, and the role of public participation in 'precision' approaches to medicine and agriculture.
