Nora Mills Boyd

Before joining HPS I worked as Research Engineer/Scientist at the Center for Experimental Nuclear Physics and Astrophysics at the University of Washington. Currently, I am interested in bringing my experience in experimental science to the philosophy of physics. I intend to focus on the philosophy of cosmology, although I also have interests in philosophy of mathematics and more general problems in philosophy of science such as explanation. I earned a B.Sc. in Physics/Philosophy at the University of British Columbia and a M.A. in Philosophy from the University of Waterloo, ON.
